We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Alter GM Furniture. If you need to return an item, please review our policy below.

14-Day Cancellation & Returns

You have the right to cancel your order at any time from the moment you place it until 14 days following the delivery of your goods. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, please contact our customer service team within this 14-day window to notify us that you wish to return your order.

Conditions of Return

To be eligible for a full refund (excluding delivery/collection costs), the following conditions must be met:

Original Condition: Goods must be returned in the exact same condition they were received, unused, and in their original packaging.

No Assembly: Please note that items which have been partially or fully assembled cannot be returned.

Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your items thoroughly immediately upon delivery.

Transit Damage: Any damage caused in transit must be reported to us within 24 hours of delivery. This strict timeframe is necessary for us to successfully process a claim with our courier.

Replacements: In the unlikely event that you receive damaged, faulty, or incorrect goods, we will work quickly to rectify the error by sending replacement goods or necessary parts.

Return Costs & Collection Fees

Customer Responsibility: You are responsible for arranging and paying for the return shipping of the goods.

Collection Service: If you require us to collect the items, a collection fee will apply. This fee is a minimum of £100, depending on the size and type of the product.

Delivery Deductions: You will be refunded the full purchase price less the cost of delivery. Where "free delivery" was offered on your original order, the true cost incurred by us to deliver the goods will be deducted from your final refund (a receipt/invoice of this delivery cost can be provided upon request).

Processing Your Refund

Refunds will be issued within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods, subject to a full inspection. We reserve the right to withhold all or part of your refund if items are returned damaged or show signs of use.
