Refund Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Alter GM Furniture. If you need to return an item, please review our policy below.

14-Day Returns: You have 14 days from delivery to notify us of a standard return.

Customised Items Exception: The 14-day cooling-off period does not apply to items made to order or custom-configured (such as your choice of fabric, colour, or corner/U-shape orientation). These cannot be returned for a change of mind unless faulty or damaged.

Colour Variations: Actual fabric colours may vary slightly from online photos due to screen settings or room lighting. These small differences are normal and do not mean the item has a defect.

Conditions of Return: Items must be unused, un-assembled, and in their original packaging to be eligible.

Damaged or Faulty Items: Inspect items upon delivery. Transit damage must be reported within 24 hours. Faulty goods are handled under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Return Costs: You can send items back to our business address at your own expense. Alternatively, we can assist with our collection service, with fees calculated based on your location (starting from £100 for standard areas, while remote postcodes are quoted individually based on actual transport costs). Refunds exclude initial delivery and return collection costs.

Refunds: Issued within 14 days of receiving and inspecting the returned goods.
